With technology again changing, we have been working diligently with our clients to ensure that they are always using the best forms of connectivity for their business. In the second half of 2015 that has meant a large migration of our current AT&T customers from the legacy MPLS platform to the AVPN platform. This has been a win-win situation for clients as the pricing for bandwidth, especially fiber, on the AVPN service tends to be more aggressive than former MPLS pricing allowing customers to not only take advantage of the latest technology offering but also to increase the speed of their connections at a reasonable price point.
While a migration or change to a network can be a lot of work, the customers that have used DMS for this transition process have realized great improvements in the functionality, access types, speeds, reliability and cost using the AVPN platform and fiber network facilities. As the migration to AVPN becomes more widespread and eventually is mandatory we will continue to provide support to our clients throughout the transition process. This has been the beginning of a trend and we anticipate that throughout 2016 there will continue to be an influx of the need for this type of migration to keep our customers up to date with the latest technology.
